One of Bali’s specialists in crafting high-quality, fabric handbags, using recycled and upcycled fabrics, is searching for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate must make a significant impact and contribute to the growth of a young and innovative brand, someone creative, proactive and dynamic, who can work independently, in a fast-paced industry and who is knowledgeable and responsible. This role will report directly to the Director.
Requirements:
- Open for local or expat candidates
- Open for freelance or part-time.
- Working arrangement : Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours (4-6 hours) a day.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, (or similar courses/qualifications).
- Min. three years experience in digital marketing, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics and tools, including social media management platforms, email marketing software, and analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. Native or bilingual/ proficient
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the Fashion Industry is a plus.
- Previous experience in handling the South East / Australian market is a bonus.
- Passion for sustainability and ethical fashion, with a genuine interest in promoting eco-friendly products and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Plan the Instagram feed weekly using Later, ensuring visual and caption content includes a mix of original, influencer, and “inspo” content aligned with the social media strategy. Aim for 5 posts and at least 2 reels per week, along with 2-3 stories daily.
- Maintain an updated Facebook page by regularly posting content.
- Send out one email newsletter weekly using Klaviyo.
- Prepare a monthly social media report, encompassing affiliates, influencers, and email marketing efforts. Propose strategy changes for the following month based on insights from the report.
- Write at least 1 blog article per month (additional articles are welcome if inspired).
- Craft compelling copy for all platforms, including social media, email marketing, website, and blog.
- Manage relationships with influencers and affiliates.
- Provide support during photoshoots and assist in production (typically twice a month in Canggu).
- Update the website as needed, particularly on Shopify.
- Manage Pinterest presence.
- Utilise social media planning tools such as Planoly, Later, and Preview, along with design tools like Canva and Lightroom or Photoshop.
- Utilise email newsletter platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
- Familiarity with Shopify platform.
