Video Editor – Hospitality Group (Canggu)

Are you a talented Video Editor looking for a fresh opportunity? One of Bali’s leading hospitality groups is searching for a Video Editor to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate is responsible for shaping the company’s visual content by assembling raw footage into compelling videos that engage and captivate our audience. You will collaborate with our creative team to bring our vision to life, ensuring that our videos meet our high-quality standards and effectively convey our message.

Requirements :

• Open for local candidates. 
• Min. three years of related experience in a similar field.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in film production, video editing, media studies, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent professional experience and a strong portfolio can also be considered.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of video codes, file formats, and video compression.
• Knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity) and sound design principles.
• Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Excellent communication skills to understand project requirements and provide creative input.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to meet project deadlines.
• A passion for storytelling and a creative mindset.

Responsibilities :

• Edit video footage, including trimming, sequencing, and enhancing clips to create cohesive and visually appealing videos.
• Craft compelling narratives through video editing, ensuring that the video effectively communicates the intended message or story.
• Enhance video quality by adjusting audio levels, adding music, sound effects, and ensuring clear and crisp audio.
• Apply colour correction and grading techniques to maintain consistency and enhance the visual appeal of videos.
• Incorporate transitions, visual effects, animations, and graphics to elevate the video’s production value.
• Work closely with the content team, to align on project goals and vision.
• Organise and manage video assets, ensuring proper labelling, storage, and backup procedures.
• Respond to feedback and make necessary revisions to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, software updates, and editing techniques to enhance skills and bring fresh ideas to projects.
• Review final videos for quality control, ensuring they meet the company’s standards and brand guidelines.
• Be flexible and open to working on a variety of video projects, including promotional videos, tutorials, interviews, and more.
