The main objective of this role is that the sales and marketing manager ensures that the brewery’s sales goals are met.

This is a senior role working alongside the head brewer and operations manager. They typically report directly to the managing director of the brewery and are often considered the “brand ambassador” of the brewery.

The role includes the supervision of a variety of staff in the brewery including sales executives, event managers, marketing and logistics staff as well as interaction with key external service providers including various advertising agencies and consultants.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop a comprehensive sales plan for the brewery’s products including marketing strategies for each product line, customer demographic analysis, sales forecasts and growth strategies
  • Examine pricing structure, revenue goals, sales locations, customer retention strategies, advertising avenues and sales team activities
  • Create a sales strategy for the brewery with the main focus on brand and market positioning
  • Create and distribute sales forecast to other departments to adjust production levels and organize logistics
  • Manage sales and promotion events
  • Develop relationships with key customers
  • Analyze customer demographics and market trends

  • Present sales reports to Management Team
  • Close supervision of the sales and marketing teams to ensure productive work to generate sales and develop marketing strategies.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 4+ years of  extensive sales and marketing experience in the food and beverage industry required with proven technical and analytical acumen
  • Proven experience or a thorough understanding of how to market and sell beer
  • Experience in creating marketing campaigns from planning through implementation
  • Strong sense of design for social media content
  • High level of written and communication skills
