Are you a highly- driven individual with extensive experience in the F&B industry?  One of Bali’s leading Bar & Grill Restaurants is searching for a Restaurant Manager to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards

Requirements:

  • Open for local and expat candidates.
  • In-depth knowledge of the F&B industry.
  • Relevant education background for the position.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a; Restaurant Manager, Café Manager, FB Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role.
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Discipline, able to work in a team or individually.
  • High attention to detail, able to track with existing SOP guidelines.
  • Possess good business awareness, entrepreneurship, and be target oriented.
  • Proactive, customer-oriented, flexible and creative.
  • Must be adept in ways to attract guests in a very competitive F&B neighbourhood.
  • Able to monitor & organise daily cost and monthly basis F&B loss & breakage.

Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor daily and weekly restaurant specials, ensuring accurate pricing.
  • Stay informed about product availability.
  • Provide a weekly report to the GM, covering various aspects of the business, including Finance, Marketing/Events, People & Culture, F&B, and Operations.
  • Track beverage costs and engage in discussions with the Bar Director and GM regarding results.
  • Develop and maintain the wine list, oversee the cellar, and offer wine training.
  • Cultivate relationships with regular guests on a personal level.
  • Personally address and oversee the resolution of all guest complaints.
  • Create and maintain a positive ambiance within the establishment.
  • Prioritise guest satisfaction in all aspects of service.
  • Ensure that all team members in assigned areas receive essential job training for competence.
  • Monitor and manage duty rosters in assigned areas, ensuring coverage and monitoring timekeeping and absenteeism.
  • Uphold personal appearance and hygiene standards for all service staff.
  • Conduct daily meetings with the Food & Beverage team.
  • Regularly inspect all areas for maintenance needs and follow-up on necessary repairs.
  • Maintain a vigilant eye on cashiering procedures, ensuring accurate billing.
  • Enforce strict control over Food & Beverage security measures.
  • Keep expenses to a minimum while maintaining quality.
  • Maintain rigorous security standards to prevent damage or theft.
  • Track staff turnover and promote a high level of staff morale.
  • Monitor hygiene and cleanliness standards in all areas, including back-of-house areas.
  • Devise and execute a regular training program, including one training session per week in high season and two sessions per week in low season.
  • Implement and oversee the weekly general cleaning in the front-of-house areas.
  • Ensure the appearance and readiness of all public areas in the outlet at all times.
  • Generate daily reports on operations.
  • Maintain staffing levels as per the budget.
  • Oversee and control staff roster – Present/Absenteeism (DP/AL).
  • Assume cashier duties when the ARM (Assistant Restaurant Manager) is not on duty.
  • Supervise and control the front and valet areas, including valet and security services provided to guests and their drivers.
