Remote Travel Agent (German Market) – Inbound Luxury Travel Agency (Kuta)

Are you a highly-driven individual with a strong background in the tour operator and travel agency industry? One of Bali’s luxury Tour & Travel companies is looking for a German speaking Travel Agent to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to the Director, contributing significantly to the seamless execution of the company’s travel initiatives for the inbound German market. This multifaceted position involves a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at guaranteeing the efficient and effective functioning of travel programs to Indonesia.

Requirements:

• Open for expat and local candidates.
• Minimum two years of related experience in a similar field.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in German.
• Proficiency in English for coordination with colleagues and local suppliers.
• Experience in an inbound travel agency.
• Self-employed status, as this is a remote/freelance position (visa not provided).
• Prior sales experience and strong customer relationship skills.
• Familiarity with Indonesia as a travel destination.
• Preferable background in the tourism sector. 
• ​​Previous work in a remote job.
• Highly organised, customer-focused, and adaptable.
• Effective time management and ability to work independently.
• Skilled in multitasking and efficient task management.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural team environment. 

Responsibilities :

• Craft personalised travel itineraries based on clients’ unique preferences and needs.
• Utilise in-depth knowledge of German travel trends to curate exceptional experiences.
• Provide continuous support to clients, offering assistance both before and during their trips.
• Address any concerns or challenges that may arise throughout the planning and execution phases.
• Effectively resolve issues or challenges that may occur, demonstrating problem-solving skills and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships to guarantee memorable and positive travel experiences.
• Gather feedback to enhance future travel offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Operations & Reservations team to ensure smooth coordination of travel plans.
• Communicate efficiently with colleagues and local suppliers, utilising proficiency in both German and English.
