Photographer – Hospitality Group (Canggu)

Are you a talented Photographer looking for a fresh opportunity? One of Bali’s leading hospitality groups is searching for a Photographer to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate is responsible for capturing and creating visual content to promote the establishment and will need to film and edit high-quality videos that showcase the unique atmosphere and captivating events at the venue. 

Requirements :

• Open for local candidates. 
• Min. three years of related experience in a similar field.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field is preferred but not required. 
• Professional photography experience and a strong portfolio are key qualifications.
• Proven experience as a Photographer, with a portfolio showcasing your work across various genres.
• Proficiency in using professional cameras, lenses, and photography equipment.
• Strong knowledge of photography principles, including composition, lighting, and post-processing.
• Proficiency in photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients and teams.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail to capture compelling and unique images.
• Ability to adapt to different shooting conditions and environments.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to meet project deadlines.
• Passion for photography and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities :

• Plan and conduct photo sessions, to capture a wide range of subjects, including people, products, venue, facilities and events.
• Expertly operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, and other photography gear to achieve the desired results.
• Apply principles of composition, framing, and perspective to create visually compelling and aesthetically pleasing images.
• Manipulate and control lighting to achieve the desired mood and atmosphere in photographs, using natural and artificial light sources.
• Retouch, edit, and enhance photographs using image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to achieve the highest image quality.
• Ensure that all photography equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and in good working order.
• Interact with business stakeholders to understand their photography needs, provide guidance, and deliver images that meet or exceed their expectations.
• Creative Input: Collaborate with the content team, to align on project goals and contribute creative ideas.
• Manage photography projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and post-production.
• Organise and manage image assets, ensuring proper labelling, storage, and backup procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, photography techniques, and equipment advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of subjects during shoots and adhere to ethical photography standards and guidelines.
