Are you a motivated individual with solid managerial experience searching for a fresh career opportunity? One of Bali’s luxury Tour & Travel companies is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing and optimising the day-to-day activities of the organisation. Their key responsibilities include managing teams, developing and implementing operational strategies. 

Requirement :

  • Open for local candidates.
  • Minimum three years of related experience in a similar field.
  • Experience in tour operations management, preferably within Indonesia.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Familiarity with MICE activities and operations.
  • Effective communication skills, both with team members and external partners.
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Proactive and adaptable in various situations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledgeable about Indonesian culture, geography, and travel destinations. 
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in French and/or Spanish is a plus.
  • High knowledge of Indonesian culture and the ability to work effectively with a multicultural team.

Responsibilities :

  • Negotiate and manage contracts with various suppliers, including transportation and guide services.
  • Oversee transportation maintenance and quality assurance for vehicles and buses.
  • Train guides and drivers on sustainability practices, ensuring adherence during tours.
  • Enforce our code of conduct and sustainability policies with all suppliers.
  • Manage operations for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) activities, requiring high availability.
  • Monitor and respond to developments during tours, including logistical changes and policy updates.
  • Maintain communication with a range of local suppliers (e.g., activity providers, event organisers, authorities) and manage pre-arrival preparations.
  • Ensure all tour-related documents are prepared and reconciled timely.
  • Assign guides and drivers based on traveller profiles and availability.
  • Handle emergency situations with a 24-hour duty phone.
  • Welcome groups upon arrival and provide on-site assistance for special events.
  • Post-departure analysis of satisfaction reports, quality monitoring, and expense reconciliation.
