Operations Manager – Beachside Resort (Nusa Lembongan)

Are you a highly-driven individual with extensive experience in the Hospitality Industry? One of Nusa Lembongan’s leading, upscale Resorts is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate will provide inspiring leadership to the team ensuring smooth Restaurant Operations as well as developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.

Requirements :

• Open to local candidates.
• Min. two years of related experience in a similar field.
• In-depth knowledge of the Hotel industry.
• Degree/Diploma Business Administration or relevant discipline.
• Strong hospitality background.
• Fluency in English – both spoken and written.
• Supervisory and management experience.
• Work with the Board of Directors & Operational Manager to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
• Strategy Planning.
• Exceptional organisational, leadership, and problem solving.
• Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• General staff training and maintaining the SOPs.
• Working with HR on recruitment for floor staff and front of house staff.
• Making sure the team is on top of all bookings via all platforms/dealing with OTAs.
• Working together with the Owner and Chef on concepts for yearly events, Chinese New Year, Easter, Halloween, Christmas, NYE, etc.
• Working with the marketing team on weekly events and ideas, targeting on island clientele via on-island socials.
• Maintaining a standard in the boutique and checking in on the sales girls and doing any necessary training.
• Weekly reports to the Owners on sales, team performance and general feedback form the past week.
• Working with the event organiser on any events held in the restaurant / hotel.
• Working with engineering to maintain the standard in the restaurant / hotel.
