Are you a highly reliable individual looking for a brand new opportunity? One of Bali’s leading real estate companies specializing in luxury villa sales is searching for a Legal Officer to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can provide creative solutions to complex legal problems, while also being an excellent communicator and team player.

You will be assisting the Director and Sales Teams by preparing all real estate documents and contracts, reviewing purchase agreements and liaising with developers and property owners.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a solid knowledge of real estate proceedings and experience in a similar role. An outstanding candidate will be someone whose expertise contributes to the timely finalization of real estate transactions.

Requirements: 

  • Local candidate only
  • Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, or similar relevant field.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience as a real estate legal officer or in a similar capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of real estate documents, contracts, applications, and submissions.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, including speaking and writing.
  • Must have experience in various public institutions in notaries and the national land office.
  • Competency in project management software and CRM experience.
  • Superb organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prepare contracts, lease agreements, and closing documents.
  • Review financing options, lending requirements and title deeds and terms hand in hand with the finance team.
  • Facilitating communication between property owners, landlords, developers, clients, and notaries.
  • Conducting research and distributing real estate documents.
  • Analyzing title documents and legal descriptions of property.
  • Documenting processes, as well as maintaining hard copy files and electronic records.
  • Answering client questions and escalating serious concerns.
  • Keeping clients informed of progress made with real estate transactions.
  • Submitting accurate legal documents in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinating regularly with the sales team regarding each property transaction.
