Are you a highly-driven individual with extensive experience in the Hospitality industry? This popular Canggu venue is looking for a talented Head of Sales to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy targeting corporate clients, social event organisers, and private celebrations, while fostering strong relationships with clients and partners. Your focus will be on maximising revenue, seeking out new business opportunities, enhancing guest experiences, and ensuring seamless event execution.

Requirements:

  • Open for local and expat candidates.
  • Proven experience in event sales & new business development, preferably in premium hospitality venues (beach club, high end restaurant or beach resort, hospitality groups), entertainment, events industry or the corporate sales sector.
  • Expertise in developing a clear and forward-thinking sales strategy that aligns with the business goals, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a sales team, providing clear direction, setting performance expectations, and fostering a collaborative and motivated environment.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, event planners, industry partners, and internal teams to ensure successful collaboration and repeat business.
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, negotiate contracts, and interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovative solutions, identify business development opportunities and adapt to market trends.
  • A strong understanding of sales and revenue management, including pricing strategies, contract negotiation, and forecasting.
  • Developing unique event proposals and concepts that align with client objectives.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue and business growth targets.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain a network of contacts in the corporate and social events industry, contributing to lead generation and business growth.
  • Strong background in the corporate sector and with a portfolio of key accounts/database being highly preferable. 
  • Efficiently managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with event planning processes, logistics, and guest experience management.
  • Expertise in negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with clients and partners while maintaining a win-win approach.
  • The ability to be hands on and to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and F&B to ensure seamless event execution.
  • A dedication to understanding client needs and creating tailored solutions that exceed expectations, contributing to positive guest experiences.
  • Using data and analytics to evaluate sales performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Representing the brand with the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and sales analysis tools.
  • A network of corporate and social event contacts in the Bali/Jakarta/Surabaya/Australia market is a plus.

Responsibilities :

Sales Strategy and Business Development:

  • Develop a clear and actionable sales strategy for corporate and social events, aligning with the overall business goals and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and stay updated on industry trends to drive innovative event offerings.
  • Build a strong pipeline of potential clients and proactively pursue leads to convert them into bookings.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and social event organisers.
  • Understand client needs and preferences, offering tailored event solutions that align with their objectives and expectations.
  • Ensure exceptional communication and responsiveness to client inquiries, concerns, and requests.

Sales Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team, setting clear sales targets and objectives to drive performance.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and motivated team.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments such as operations, marketing, and F&B to ensure successful event planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure all event details are accurately communicated and executed flawlessly.

Revenue Maximisation:

  • Negotiate and finalise event contracts, ensuring they are aligned with the venue’s pricing strategy and profitability goals.
  • Implement effective pricing strategies to optimise revenue while maintaining competitiveness within the market.

Event Execution and Guest Experience:

  • Oversee the entire event lifecycle, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of events to exceed client expectations.
  • Monitor event quality, service delivery, and guest satisfaction, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track sales performance, generate reports, and analyse data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement of sales processes and strategies.
