The ideal candidate is responsible for leading architectural initiatives, setting strategic direction, and overseeing project execution while upholding the company’s commitment to excellence. You will be reporting directly to the CEO.
Performance evaluation will be based on set KPIs to include, successful execution and delivery of flagship projects, client satisfaction scores, implementation of innovative architectural solutions resulting in % project improvement, development and implementation of strategic architectural plans that align with company goals.
Requirements :
- Open for local and expat candidates.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
- Proven progressive experience (5+ years) in a senior leadership role, in architectural design and project management, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in industry standard software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)
- Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary architectural teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction and team leadership.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and execute architectural visions.
Responsibilities :
- Define and execute the architectural vision, aligned with the company’s goals.
- Develop strategies to enhance design capabilities, foster innovation, and drive architectural excellence.
- Lead, mentor and inspire a diverse team of architects, designers and professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture, encouraging creativity and professional growth.
- Provide strategic direction for projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project progress and intervene as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
- Act as a key point of contact for major clients, nurturing relationships and understanding their evolving needs.
- Collaborate closely to translate client visions into exemplary architectural designs.
- Directly oversee **Associate Architects, Project Architects, Design Teams, Architecture Technicians and Drafters and Support Staff.
- Execute interdepartmental collaboration with creative, sales, project and operational teams.
- Engage with external consultants, contractors, engineers, and vendors collaborating on architectural projects.
- Stay abreast of emerging architectural trends, technologies, and best practices globally.
- Implement innovative solutions and incorporate cutting-edge trends into our designs.
- Uphold and enforce the highest standards of design quality, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, building codes and company protocols.
Associate Architects: Assisting in project leadership, client interactions and project development.
Project Architects: Managing specific projects and coordinating teams.
Design Teams: Conceptualising and developing architectural plans (3D Visualisers)
Architecture Technicians and Drafters: Handling technical aspects and implementing design changes.
Support Staff: Administrative and technical support personnel within the architecture department.
