Are you a motivated individual with solid managerial experience searching for a fresh career opportunity? One of Lombok’s leading beachfront resorts, is searching for a General Manager to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate is responsible for supervising daily property operations to ensure top-notch guest experiences, leading diverse teams to promote collaboration and exceptional service, implementing operational standards, driving revenue growth, and aligning operations with company objectives. 

Requirements:

  • Open to local candidates.
  • Possession of a two year Degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major from an accredited university.
  • Minimum eight years of hands-on experience in leadership roles within the hospitality industry, showcasing successful management and strategic leadership.
  • Proficient communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive communication and collaboration within the team and with guests.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring precision in implementing strategies and maintaining the highest standards in operations.
  • Possession of good business awareness, entrepreneurship, and a target-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to monitor and organise financial aspects, including daily costs on a monthly basis, aligning with the overall goals of the hotel.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises and manages employees, understanding employee positions well enough to perform duties in their absence.
  • Maintains service and sanitation standards in the restaurant, bar/lounge, and room service areas.
  • Reviews staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  • Utilises interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
  • Advocates sound financial/business decision-making, demonstrating honesty and integrity.
  • Encourages mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Serves as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviours.
  • Identifies developmental needs and coaches, mentors, or otherwise helps others to improve their knowledge or skills.
  • Ensures and maintains employee productivity levels.
  • Provides services that go above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs.
  • Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifying excellent customer service.
  • Empowers employees to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Handles guest problems and complaints, taking corrective action to continuously improve service results.
  • Provides guidance and direction to subordinates, setting performance standards and monitoring performance.

  • Assists servers and hosts during meal periods and high-demand times.

  • Supervises daily shift operations in the absence of the Assistant Restaurant Manager.
  • Oversees the financial aspects of the department, including purchasing and payment of invoices.
