The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of F&B and is able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the venue in the absence of the General Manager.
Requirements:
- Expat candidates only
- College degree in F&B, hotel or restaurant management is preferred
- Minimum 6-8 years’ work experience in restaurant operations with hands-on experience in managing 3-5 restaurant
- Experience using relevant technology and equipment
- Experience in reporting and emergency planning

Responsibilities:
- Be in charge for the overall quality control in all departments; observe, control and correct service quality of waiters and hostesses, bar & kitchen on a daily basis. ·
- Work closely with the Manager to ensure correct stock levels are available from central distribution area, to assist the operational Food and Beverage team
- Champion a training culture within the Food and Beverage team to ensure succession planning, and a culture that exceeds the very best the industry has to offer
- Plan, communicate and execute trainings for various departments, also supervise and monitor each Head of departments executed trainings and results
- Complaint management: handle daily complaints, summarize and analyze monthly complaint data ( online and at the venue) and take actions to handle each issue involving each involved department.
- Check status of ongoing projects and control proper quality, hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain close, professional, effective links with all external contractors
- Assist the FB Director/ Head Chef with managing Health & Safety and Food Hygiene, ensuring there is strict compliance with all legislation
- Collate and disseminate food safety alerts when appropriate and be responsible for ensuring departmental compliance with the group health and safety policy
- Manage the external food hygiene consultant, and the resulting reports
- Work with the Security Manager to deliver an effective loss prevention scheme
- Department representative for Special Events, working each special event as the departmental duty manager across planning and delivery
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new ideas and menu specifications each season
- Consistently review products delivered to ensure KPIs are met and take up any shortcomings with suppliers
- Provide constant leadership, counselling, advice and feedback to their peers
