Are you a highly reliable individual with managerial experience looking for a brand new opportunity? One of Bali’s leading hospitality groups is searching for an Expat Bar Manager to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate is responsible for overseeing the bar’s operations with finesse, managing opening/closing, inventory, and compliance. The candidate must curate an exquisite beverage program, craft a captivating drink menu and maintain a well-stocked inventory. They will also be responsible for leading and training the staff to deliver impeccable customer service.

Requirements :

  • Open for expat candidates. 
  • Min. five years of experience in the well-known hospitality industry, particularly in bar or restaurant management roles.
  • Strong leadership and management. 
  • Understanding of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, wine, and beer is essential. 
  • Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and the ability to curate a diverse and appealing drinks menu.
  • Exceptional customer service skills  
  • Familiar with budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and analysing financial reports. 
  • Knowledge of pricing strategies and experience in maximising revenue is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Abilities to effectively oversee staff, delegate tasks, and maintain a productive and positive work environment.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner and handle customer complaints or issues effectively.
  • Oversee bar operations in a way that maximises efficiency, effectiveness and service delivery, in line with company standards and procedures. 
  • Continually monitor all daily sales, ordering, par levels and costs for all outlets. 
  • Maintain accurate paperwork for inventory levels and advise the Curator of various drinks. 
  • Assist in the monthly wine inventory and year-end inventory.
  • Assist F&B Manager or designate on implementing training itineraries and programs related to beverage knowledge 
  • Print and maintain all the wine lists as needed by the business level. 
  • Coordinate wine pairing with the service team in the Restaurant & Bar. 
  • Design and deliver effective on and off-job training initiatives on a regular basis in line with identified training needs, so that the team is familiar with all products and services, including full knowledge of menus and wine lists, service standards, and procedures.
