One of Bali’s breathtaking beachfront havens is searching for an extraordinary Director of Sales and Marketing to join their team immediately to lead the sales and marketing team efforts and drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in sales and marketing within the hospitality industry, particularly in the beach resort or club sector. This role requires creativity, leadership and business acumen to promote the company brand, attract new customers, and maximise revenue opportunities.

Requirements: 

  • Open for local and expat candidates.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably in the hospitality industry in Asia with a focus on beach clubs, boutique resorts or clubs.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, achieving sales targets, and building brand awareness.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • A passion for hospitality, outstanding attention to detail and commitment to high quality outcomes.
  • Experience in e-commerce, managing SEO, PPC, social media, affiliate programs, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and digital marketing tools/platforms.
  • A persuasive communicator and team leader who can positively and productively influence and engage with different audiences.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in PR and media relations. 
  • Strong organisational and work co-ordinating skills to handle multiple assignments and projects.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator / Adobe, and basic HTML skills preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with business unit managers and utilising the marketing team/department resources, delivering business goals and revenue targets and working within the allocated departmental budget.
  • Management of the PR calendar, liaising with the PR agency on initiatives and sourcing and actioning PR opportunities. Direct media liaison and media hosting when required.
  • Provide marketing resources, advice and guidance to the Sales, Marketing & Creative Departments to facilitate successful marketing initiatives. 
  • Maintain general oversight of all site marketing and communications activities.
  • Manage the SEO, PPC and advertising remarketing campaigns. 
  • Guide and support the Sales & Marketing team toward achieving their relevant KPIs.
  • Create the Marketing Plan including strategy, marketplace review and detailed monthly activity planner.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams to expand market reach and drive sales growth.
  • Deliver an annual marketing plan that supports the business in achieving EBITDA revenue targets across food, beverage, tickets, and events.
  • Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all customers.
  • Ensure that customer service standards and specific service SOPs are received, understood and applied in each applicable section of the Marketing Department including complaint handling procedures and dealing with customers over the phone or written online.
  • Implement sales lead campaigns online and offline to support sales staff in business development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders to generate leads and secure bookings.
  • Be prepared and willing to travel domestically and internationally as per business requirements.
