One of our clients, a luxury island resort in Labuan Bajo, is searching for a Butler Manager to join the team immediately. 

The ideal candidate will lead and manage the Front Office with butler standards to provide exclusive, personal services to guests at the resort, ensuring the quality and standards of guest satisfaction/experience (Serene, Private, Personal, and Homey Sanctuary).

Requirements :

  • Preference for graduates in hospitality or a relevant and related field.
  • Preferably, a minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant position and field.
  • Preferably attended Butler training.
  • Achieve quality in processes and results with effective and efficient performance by standard operating procedures.
  • Apply honesty, accountability, and work integrity.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and very good guest service.
  • In-depth knowledge of butler services and high-quality service standards.
  • Think and have a clear, deep, and open perspective.
  • Understanding of the Property/ Mall Management Industry.
  • Innovative and responsive to change.
  • High discipline, detail-oriented, and guest satisfaction-oriented.
  • Adaptability and the ability to handle challenges calmly.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop Butler procedures and protocols that provide personal and exclusive services to guests.
  • Upsell encounters or other facilities available at the resort.
  • Lead, train, manage, and ensure the Butler team delivers high-quality services (interpersonal skills and product knowledge) in line with resort standards.
  • Coordinate additional services such as transportation, restaurant reservations, and special activities according to guest requests.
  • Ensure that all guest needs are carefully and timely met from reservations, check-in, stay, participating in encounters, to check-out.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, addressing issues or complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Act as the Butler representative for VIP guest meetings or special events. 
  • Ensure Butler’s compliance with guest security and privacy policies.
  • Responsible for arranging and ensuring the availability of resort facilities, along with the Housekeeping Department, according to guest desires and preferences.
  • Conduct routine evaluations to ensure service standards are continually improved.
