Are you a results-oriented professional with a passion for sales and business development? One of Bali’s leading Environmental and Social Sustainability Development companies is searching for a Business Development Executive to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate is responsible for playing a pivotal role within our organisation, working closely with the Founding team and the current sales team. Your primary objective is to strategically expand and cultivate our network of partnerships, fostering connections with global clients on a daily basis. Your efforts will be integral in shaping the growth and development of the company’s engagement with a diverse range of partners, both regionally and internationally.

Requirements :

  • Open for local and expat candidates.
  • Minimum three years of experience in Sales or Partnership generation.
  • Experience in Sustainability, GreenTech or Social Impact startups 
  • Experience in fast paced environments during hyper-growth phase, being capable of adjusting the strategy based on new inputs & changing external conditions.
  • Understanding of sales processes through a CRM.
  • Either formal or self study in the sustainability sector. 
  • An outgoing, capable individual who is able to be very hands-on with their working style. 
  • A fast learner who is eager to ‘hit the ground running.’
  • Experience implementing, maintaining and refining company wide sales/partnerships and the associated underpinning sales processes.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to understand the service and evaluate potential partners. 
  • Passion for nurturing clients and ensuring they are satisfied with our services as a consultancy and ocean clean up organisation.
  • Ability to identify & anticipate trends, building opportunities to scale sales, growth & partnerships.
  • Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Strong customer empathy with the creativity to tell powerful stories 
  • A true passion for sustainability and working towards environmental and social impact.
  • Organised and analytical to support the various sales functions.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and drive critical aspects of a hands-on sales role, with a primary focus on identifying new prospects, nurturing and establishing relationships with them, securing meetings, and offering operational support throughout the deal-closing process.
  • Collaborate with the team to work towards achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and sales targets, both at a collective and individual level. Ensure effective communication of these targets within the team.
  • Take charge of preparing and delivering compelling presentations, proposals, strategic plans, and providing valuable assistance in the creation of tender documents and contracts when required.
  • Utilise our CRM system (specifically, HubSpot) to meticulously analyse and track relevant qualitative and quantitative KPIs. This data-driven approach will play a crucial role in shaping our sales strategy and achieving our goals.
