Are you an experienced, energetic individual with solid experience in the Marketing Industry? One of Bali’s leading Boutique Hotels is looking for an Assistant Manager of Marketing Communications to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate is responsible for supporting marketing communications activities as delegated by the Marketing Communications Manager. Assist in writing and translating news, releases, and all other promotional written materials of the hotel where required. 

Requirement :

  • Open for local candidates.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are a must.
  • Proficiency in English communication and computer literacy are prerequisites.
  • Creativity, outgoing personality, and a presentable demeanor are highly valued.
  • A solid grasp of marketing principles and strategies is essential.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations is advantageous for this role.

Responsibilities :

  • Update hotel database on a regular basis plus input the new contacts passed by various departments in the main database.
  • Assist the Marketing Communications Manager to update hotel information and rates in all websites or new opportunities to expose the hotel to the public.
  • Prepare a monthly e-newsletter by compiling the promotions/packages for each section.
  • Prepare quarterly e-newsletter for customers by compiling useful information and promotions that can drive business to the hotel.
  • Assist Marketing Communications Manager in coordination with hotel partners in terms of the copromotion programs by submitting information required by partners.
  • Preparing monthly reports to submit to Related Manager or Manager of Marketing, Marketing Communications Manager to review at the end of the month which includes printing, promotions and advertising.
  • Be aware of activities in the hotel i.e. food and beverage promotions, VIP arrivals, new appointments or promotions of employees that should trigger awareness or can be used for the e- newsletter. 
  • Be in charge of all purchasing orders, par stock items for the marketing communication department.
  • Assist departments concerned in matters pertaining to public relations to support sales and marketing, food and beverage, employee relations, and community affairs.
  • Possess good telephone manners and be able to answer enquiries about the hotel to the media and the general public.
  • Responsible for filing of marketing communications documents, and requisitioning of office supplies as well as maintaining an effective tracing system for files and paperwork.
  • Assist in any other tasks assigned by the management.
