Requirements:
- Local candidates only
- High School Certificate Year 12
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality preferred
- 1-2 years all around supervisory experience in Front Office
- Deliver exceptional customer service experience with in-depth Front Office knowledge
- Proficient in Protel, PMS, Room Master, Opera etc
- A driving licence is preferable (if required)
- Excellent communication skills in reading and writing English
- Passionate and willing to learn with a positive working attitude
- Competent in multi-tasking and enjoy working in a dynamic and busy environment
- Able to work in a team and have a strong work ethic in the hospitality industry
Responsibilities:
- Supervise front office Team Members of a lower grade and assist with duties as required, ensuring the smooth running of the Front Office according to company standards and procedures.
- Conduct show rounds around the hotel for hotel guests, clients and anyone who is making enquiries
- Oversee all requests from guests, including airline reservations, ground transportation, hotel accommodation, restaurant bookings and entertainment plans
- Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, respectful and positive manner
- Promote high levels of service and prompt, efficient and polite responses to all requests
- Ensure that the reception team is familiar with hotel facilities and room types offered to guests
- Make decisions and take appropriate action in regards to problems or conflicts between team members
- Promptly follow up on any guest incidents or complaints and deal with any invoice or payment queries
- Ensure all incidents or accidents are reported correctly using incident report forms, obtaining appropriate information, statements and photos as per company standards
- Encourage feedback from our guests to update and maintain guest history records, enabling us to anticipate the needs of our guests
- Liaise regularly with the Reservations department and search for, action or pass on sales opportunities to the Sales department
- Personally meet and welcome regular guests and VIP guests and ensure rapport is established
