The ideal candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality. A strong knowledge of the furniture and home decoration industry is a must.
Requirements:

- English speaking/written is a must
- 28 years old and over
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Preferably in quality, industrial, or wood engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering, furniture Research & Development, or a similar role. Those with Research & Development backgrounds are welcome to apply
- 3+ years of experience in the furniture and home decoration industry
- Proficiency in drafting and 3D software
- Strong knowledge of furniture construction
- Familiar with the product development process and technical product documents
- Experience in making cost break-down and understanding of costs associated with raw materials and design details is a great plus
- Having knowledge of product and packaging tests is a great plus
- Having knowledge of the USA and European regulation in furniture and home decoration is a plus
- Has experience in sourcing/buying office/trading is a plus
- Willing to travel extensively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management skills
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing product development and quality control systems including product testing
- Executing Production Drawing, Cost Break-down, Assembly Instruction, Packaging System, Finishing Steps, and Product Information documents
- Interface with suppliers/Original Equipment Manufacturers on inspection methods, test report requirements in technical agreements, master sample sign-off, on-site inspections, sorting arrangement, and non-conforming material components and products disposal method
- Conducting sample in-house testing during development to solve problematic material or construction issues
- Troubleshooting technical issues that arise during furniture sample development
- Conducting online/onsite sample review (Development Sample, Testing Sample, Photo Sample, Master Sample) and making a recommendation, ensuring that the sample meets specs
- Conducting online/onsite Pre-Production Meetings
- Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements
- Responsible to ensure that all master samples and swatches are well organized, properly recorded, and renewed periodically as needed
