Are you a dynamic and experienced professional in the field of sourcing, agriculture, and export? One of Bali’s leading Agriculture and Export Fruit Companies is searching for a Sourcing Manager to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate will be skilled in sourcing high-quality exotic fruits and adept at building valuable B2B relationships. You will manage sourcing operations across Bali & Lombok while overseeing the entire export process, including logistics, warehousing, packaging, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Open for local candidates. 
  • Min. three years experience in a similar field.
  • Proven work experience as a Sourcing Manager or Procurement Manager.
  • Agricultural background is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software.
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships.
  • Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing and interpreting data.
  • Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions.
  • Understand the entire export process.
  • Have a good level of English proficiency.

Responsibilities: 

  • Possess exceptional skills in identifying and securing the highest quality producers.
  • Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude to source fruits effectively through various channels, encompassing online platforms and offline procurement methods.
  • Be well-versed in assessing and ensuring product quality, with a keen eye for spotting signs of tree diseases that could impact fruit quality.
  • Develop and sustain robust business-to-business relationships producers, employing skilled negotiation to secure favourable agreements.
  • Lead and guide a dynamic team of sourcing executives responsible for multiple Indonesian regions, including Sumatra, Java East, and Java West.
  • Possess a holistic understanding of the end-to-end export process, encompassing meticulous coordination of transportation, warehousing in Denpasar and Jakarta, packaging, documentation, and meticulous adherence to stringent global standards and regulations with some travel required to Jakarta.
