Are you a highly reliable individual with managerial experience looking for a brand new opportunity? A Boutique Hotel & Retreat Center is searching for a talented General Manager to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate is responsible to manage all aspects of Hotel Operations and Development and is responsible for the overall performance of the hotel and must actively assist in the development of the brand and products and ensure that the vision of the brand is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Open for Local candidates only.
  • Previous experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a resort or hotel and retreat setting.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial management, sales, and marketing strategies.
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and health and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve the hotel’s goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health, and safety standards.
  • Continuously monitor and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and manage the hotel’s annual budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze financial reports, and implement cost control measures.
  • Collaborate with the financial team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Manage & develop a world class sales & marketing team.
  • Execute a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to attract a diverse range of guests.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and other potential partners.
  • Utilise digital marketing channels and social media to enhance brand visibility and drive direct bookings.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of employees, including department managers and staff members.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, open communication, and employee development.
  • Implement effective training and development programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
