The ideal candidate plays a major role in design projects and helps ensure project success. As a leader in this field, you will need to combine deep technical experience with strong team management skills.
Requirement :
- Open for local candidates.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
- Minimum two years experience in furniture drafting or related roles.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of furniture design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Artistic ability, vision and creativity.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Great project management skills.
- Creative talent, imagination and eye for design.
- Innovative thinking and the ability to contribute ideas to enhance the design process.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and guide the team within the Furniture Department.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of technical drawings prepared by drafters.
- Oversee production process flow and optimal machine utilisation.
- Provide assisting for junior and associate drafters.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to achieve project goals.
