Drafter – Hospitality and Wellness Project (Canggu)

Are you a reliable and highly proactive candidate searching for a fresh opportunity? A team of passionate Directors launching a unique health and wellness project here in Bali is searching for a talented Drafter to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings, blueprints, and plans that accurately represent design concepts and specifications and candidates must possess strong drafting skills, proficiency in CAD software, familiarity with 3D modelling tools and a keen eye for accuracy and precision.

Requirements:

• Open for local candidates only.
• Min. three years experience in a similar field. 
• Associate Degree or Certification in drafting, CAD technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with architectural, structural, MEP drafting standards and guidelines.
• Familiarity with construction and engineering terminology and concepts.
• Solid understanding of drafting techniques, standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in CAD software, excellent hands-on experience with AutoCad & Sketch Up.
• Familiarity with 3D modelling tools (Revit and Rhino is a plus). 
• Entering data into to create 3-D models and renderings.
• Ability to create accurate and error free technical drawings proficiently and fast.
• Good taste in design/architecture (to be checked in portfolio).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
• Printing drawing schematics for use by architects, construction managers, and structural and maintenance engineers

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to adapt with changes during the construction.
• Good level of English, Indonesian and technical language.
• Independent, organised & pro-active. 
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Bonus; experience designing Spas. 
• Good sense of ergonomics. 
• Experience designing bionic (curved, rounded) architecture.

Responsibilities: 

Drafting and Design:

• Create detailed and accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and plans based on design concepts and specifications.
• Utilise computer-aided design (CAD) software to generate 2D and 3D drawings.
• Incorporate design changes and modifications as necessary, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings.

Documentation and Review:

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of all drawings, including revisions and updates.
• Review drawings and designs for errors, inconsistencies, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to address feedback, incorporate changes, and ensure accuracy and quality.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Work closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project goals and requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify design details.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and support as required.

Quality Control and Compliance:

• Ensure drawings and designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications.
• Address any discrepancies or issues promptly and collaborate with the project team to implement necessary corrections.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in drafting and design.
• Seek opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and efficiency in drafting tasks.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of standard drafting procedures  and guidelines.
