One of Bali’s full-service Interior Design Studio focused on creating cool interior concepts for residential and commercial projects is searching for a Design Studio Project Manager to join their team immediately. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Studio’s business and projects and ensure the entire design process runs smoothly and is completed on time and within budget.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position with verifiable references.
  • Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Calendar.
  • Proficient in reading AutoCAD drawings and working with architectural plans.
  • Strong organisational skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a proactive approach to error detection and process optimisation.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Willingness to drive and travel to various sites, meetings with clients, and suppliers.
  • Demonstrates reliability, integrity, and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Fast Learner, fun and creative person.

Responsibilities:

Creating, Project Planning and Management

  • Receive briefings from Director on Studio’s goals, projects, and Clients.
  • Liaise with Architects, Contractors and Developer’s Director of projects to obtain all information needed for each project (Floor Plans, BOQ,etc)
  • Define a detailed work schedule in line with budget plan and timeline for each project to present to Director.
  • Coordinate with Interior Design and Procurement departments to implement working plan, define project design and purchasing requirements and goals that must be achieved.
  • Control and supervise work progress according to plan.
  • Hold and lead weekly meetings with all the team members and vendors involved, discussing the realization of last week’s work plan, work plans for the next week, obstacles faced and solutions.
  • Hold weekly meetings with the Client, discussing the realization of last week’s work plan, work plans for the next week, obstacles faced related to the Client, Construction Management, Building Management, or other parties outside the contractor’s authority.
  • Create and distribute Minutes of Meeting.
  • Create a Weekly Report in the form of photos of work progress according to the company format and send it to the Director, Client and/or Construction Management via email.
  • Create a Weekly Progress in the form of a weighted value of work performance, staff and project progress according to the company format and send it to the Director via email.
  • Attend meetings and site surveys with client, contractor, sub-contractors, and other representative meetings, take notes of what was discussed and keep Director informed on project progresses and updates from contractors and other team members.
  • Keep track of all the documents to be compiled into a Close Out Document. 

Liaising with Procurement

  • Review procurement purchasing plan for each project with timelines, estimates and schedules for the Studio and our clients.
  • Review procurement’s organisation of vendors database and IDs of all items.
  • Assess procurement’s vendor quality and prices to ensure it is in line with Studio’s goals and standards.
  • Coordinate with Procurement deliveries co-ordination and Quality Control to check materials/goods made in the Vendor’s workshop to ensure that the materials/goods to be sent to the Project meet Company standards and are received in the correct quantity, color and according to the order, as well as the safe and organized storage of these items until their installation.
  • Coordinate invoices & payments, and keep detailed record of expenses, assist with tax documentation.
  • Submit required documents for Client’s proposals for Director’s review.

Liaising with Interior Designer

  • Coordinate Interior Designer’s work deliveries to ensure it’s in line with project needs, budget and timeline.

Installations

  • Coordinate with site surveyor, Interior Designer and Procurement to ensure efficient installation of items and items specifications.
