The ideal candidate is responsible for supporting the design process, coordinating project activities, and ensuring seamless communication among team members and clients.You will collaborate closely with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure that designs are accurately and effectively translated into visual representations and technical documents.
Requirement :
- Open for local candidates.
- Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of two years working as an Architectural Drafter in an architecture or interior design firm.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) for drafting and design.
- Strong technical drawing skills and the ability to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SketchUp, Rhino, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant drafting and design work is highly desirable.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with architects and designers to develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints for a variety of projects.
- Create and update 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software and other design tools.
- Translate conceptual designs into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Ensure that drawings adhere to established standards and guidelines, including relevant building codes and regulations.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and input from the design and project management teams.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials, such as renderings and visualisations, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure the accuracy and consistency of design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the project scope, design intent, and objectives.
- Participate in design meetings and contribute to design discussions as required.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architectural drafting and design.
