An independent digital media and communications agency, providing end to end digital consultancy, strategy, and delivery for clients of all sizes is looking for a Senior Digital Media Buyer to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and optimisation of our social media advertising campaigns. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of social media platforms, audience targeting, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing social media ad campaigns, particularly on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and possess strong analytical and technical skills.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in social media buying and planning, with significant experience on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
- Proven experience managing large-scale social media advertising campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, advertising formats, and audience targeting.
- Proficient in using advertising tools such as Meta Ads Manager, and familiar with other platforms like Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.
- Technical proficiency in implementing and utilising Facebook Pixel, Conversion API, custom conversions, and event tracking.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative campaign ideas.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with programmatic advertising.
- Certification in digital marketing or social media advertising (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads Certification).
Responsibilities :
Campaign Strategy and Planning:
- Develop comprehensive social media advertising strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify target audiences and create detailed media plans that maximise reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with the content team to align advertising strategies with overall social media content plans.
Buying and Execution:
- Manage the end-to-end process of social media ad buying, with a particular focus on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
- Utilise Meta Ads Manager to set up, monitor, and optimise ad campaigns.
- Implement detailed audience targeting using Meta’s advanced targeting options, including custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and detailed demographic and interest-based targeting.
- Set up and manage ad budgets, bidding strategies, and campaign schedules to ensure effective spend and performance.
- Leverage dynamic ads, carousel ads, video ads, and other ad formats to maximise engagement and conversions.
Technical Proficiency:
- Implement Facebook Pixel and Conversion API for tracking user interactions and conversions.
- Set up and manage custom conversions and events to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives, audience segments, and placements to optimise performance.
- Utilise Meta’s automated rules and campaign budget optimisation (CBO) features for efficient budget management and campaign scaling.
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Meta Ads Manager, including changes in privacy policies and their impact on ad targeting and measurement.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Analyse and report on campaign performance using metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROI.
- Use data-driven insights to adjust and improve ongoing campaigns.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Budget Management:
- Manage and allocate the social media advertising budget effectively.
- Track spending and ensure campaigns are delivered within budget.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media advertising.
- Conduct A/B testing to optimise ad creatives, placements, and targeting.
- Explore and experiment with new advertising opportunities and platforms.
