Senior Accountant Specialist – Design and Construction Studio (Canggu)

A leading landscape design and construction studio in Indonesia, renowned for creating exceptional outdoor spaces that blend creativity, functionality, and sustainability, is looking for a Senior Accounting Specialist to join their team. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. They should possess a strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, along with a keen attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities are essential.

Requirements: 

• Open for local candidates.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Over five years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without close supervision.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanour.
• Proficient in accounting software, preferably with experience in systems similar to Journal ID.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Input daily financial transactions into the Journal ID accounting system.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly financial reports, including cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other necessary accounting reports.
• Oversee and manage cash operations to ensure accurate and timely handling of funds.
• Monitor and control costs across all projects to ensure expenses remain within budget.
• Conduct quality checks on purchased trees, shrubs, and other materials to ensure they meet company standards.
• Report financial and operational updates to the owner using clear and simple language.
