Are you a highly driven individual with solid sales experience in the luxury property sector? A 5-star boutique resort with only six bedrooms offering world-class hospitality and service is searching for a Sales & Events specialist to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate is familiar with luxury hotel standards and possesses excellent client-handling skills.

Requirements:

  • Local candidate only
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position for a luxury boutique resort 
  • Excellent level of written and spoken english
  • Exceptional communication and networking skills 

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and maintain contact with corporate clients, meeting, wedding & event planners, travel trade, government representatives, and business social groups to discuss opportunities for creating unforgettable experiences at the property  
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings, events and any appointments
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and agents and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests
  • Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, event orders) 
  • Perform property site tours with potential clients and agents 
  • Utilise efficient sales strategy and establish strong relationships with vendors and third party reservation providers to ensure the maximisation of property revenue
  • Coordinate and organise the details of an event 
  • Coordinate necessary arrangements with vendors relating to sales 
  • Oversee the booking and reservation of space in the property to ensure availability and proper arrangement 
  • Prepare and present contract rate, campaign rate or sales proposal to potential clients, highlighting the best features and qualities of the property 
  • Gather materials, and assemble information packages (brochures, promotional materials, sales demo kit, media welcome kit, souvenir etc.) 
  • Maintain and manage all TO, TA and OTA profiles, listings, rates, promotions  
  • Maintain customer and vendor databases at all times 
  • Other smaller roles and responsibilities as per General Manager instructions
