One of our clients, a luxury handcraft brand based in Bali, is renowned for blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design to create timeless handwoven accessories, is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Planning & Inventory Control to join their team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising production planning and inventory control processes. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company database, ensuring seamless communication and integration across departments, from planning to decision-making. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record in inventory management and MRP systems.
Requirements :
- Open for local candidates.
- Minimum five years of experience in export manufacturing, ideally in fashion, leather goods, or accessories.
- Deep understanding of production workflows, capacity planning, and lead time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and familiar with MRP or ERP systems to manage inventory and production timelines.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure data accuracy across systems.
- Highly organised with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to support planning and decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise between production teams, suppliers, and management.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Willingness to travel locally or internationally as required for factory visits, vendor meetings, or quality inspections.
- A genuine interest in craftsmanship, luxury materials, and sustainable production practices is a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Collect, process, and input data from various sources into the MRP system.
- Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports on sales, orders, and inventory levels.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency, flagging any discrepancies for review.
- Maintain accurate product information, Bills of Materials, and production operations within the MRP system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth process integration.
- Monitor data for errors and inconsistencies, reporting findings to Management.
- Coordinate with the Production Team to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
- Review stock levels considering supplier lead times and special holidays.
- Manage and control finished goods inventory, ensuring proper organisation and labeling.
- Monitor production planning accuracy and inventory alignment with demand (Production & Inventory Accuracy Report).
- Evaluate raw material availability and supply chain risks (Material Procurement & Supply Chain Report).
- Assess efficiency of production scheduling and fulfillment timelines (Production Scheduling & Delivery Review).
- Conduct analysis on production efficiency and waste management (Production Efficiency & Waste Reduction Report).
- Review forecast accuracy and demand planning effectiveness (Demand Forecasting & Planning Review).
