One of our clients, a luxury handcraft brand based in Bali, is renowned for blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design to create timeless handwoven accessories, and is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing production processes, with a focus on community-driven and sustainable practices. You will lead a team of artisans and collaborate closely with community partners to ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and social responsibility are upheld throughout the production cycle. Requirements :

- D3/S1 Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Production Management, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline).
- Minimum five years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end production processes, preferably within a craft, fashion, or artisan-based industry.
- Direct exposure to and understanding of community-based production methods and decentralised supply chains.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate, coordinate, and mentor cross-cultural teams.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia, knowledge of Balinese language is an advantage.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyse data, forecast needs, and manage inventory and timelines effectively.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, especially in high-pressure or fast-changing environments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an uncompromising approach to maintaining luxury-level quality and consistency.
- Confident communicator, capable of bridging local production realities with international expectations and management teams.
- Adaptable, fast learner, and innovative thinker with a hands-on attitude and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience working in dynamic, purpose-driven environments or brands with sustainability values is a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Manage end-to-end production process with artisans, production and raw material suppliers applying stringent quality control at each checkpoint, ensuring adherence to the brand high quality product standards and strict production deadlines.
- Resolve production and quality issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Regular and as-needed visits to artisans and material suppliers to maintain relationships and oversee orders in production.
- Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly production scheduling and reporting for in-house and outsourced production.
- Working closely with colleagues in Procurement, Inventory and Data Management to ensure optimised visibility and coordination of order status.
- Manage online production order filing systems on company’s Google Drive.
- Manage and support weaver in customer experience events with local establishments.
- Lead and nurture artisans, production teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, skill development, and engagement.
- Continuously improve production workflows and procedures to maximise efficiency, minimise waste, and reduce environmental impact.
- Monitor production costs and budgetary constraints, identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all production activities, maintaining a clean, safe and healthy working environment.
