One of Bali’s prominent property and lifestyle investment groups focused on sustainable development is searching for a Head of Project Delivery to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate will oversee the governance of construction projects, ensuring that they adhere to regulatory requirements, internal standards, and project deliverables. This role will have direct oversight of both the Design and Tender teams, ensuring that these critical functions align with the overall project strategy and objectives. The role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities, capable of driving project success through effective governance and collaboration across teams.
Requirements:
- Open for local candidates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification in Project Management or Governance is preferred.
- Minimum of ten years of experience in project management, construction, or a related field, with at least five years in a governance or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyse complex project data, assess risks, and develop effective governance strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges related to design and tendering processes.
- Deep understanding of construction processes, design standards, tendering procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks for all construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements.
- Monitor the Design and Tender teams to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and implement governance policies and procedures to guide project execution.
- Ensure that the Design team produces high-quality, innovative designs that meet project specifications and client expectations.
- Review and approve design proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project goals.
- Oversee the tendering process to ensure it is transparent, competitive, and aligned with project requirements.
- Review and evaluate tender documents and bids, ensuring that they meet the project’s financial and technical specifications.
- Work closely with the Tender team to negotiate contracts and select the best contractors or suppliers for the project.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to project governance, design, and tendering processes.
- Ensure that all teams adhere to risk management strategies to minimise potential project disruptions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the Design and Tender teams and senior management, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project objectives.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project success.
- Track and report on the performance of the Design and Tender teams, ensuring that they meet established goals and KPIs.
- Implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure that project deliverables are achieved.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Design and Tender teams, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practices.
- Lead post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve governance processes for future projects.
