Our client, a pioneering wellness center set to open in Bali early next year, offering a range of services from tailored fitness programs and holistic treatments to personalised wellness plans, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Therapy to join their team.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a dedicated and compassionate therapist, primarily responsible for conducting in-person therapy sessions with members. They should have a strong ability to facilitate individual therapy sessions, with the potential to lead group sessions when needed. In addition to your clinical expertise, you will play a key role in building and expanding an exceptional team of dedicated therapists, offering members a personalised experience, by allowing them to choose the therapist that best suits their needs.
The Head of Therapy will play a pivotal role in the overall mental well being strategy at the centre with the simple aim of ensuring members live a happy, healthy, long life.
Requirements:
- Open for expat candidates.
- Minimum of eight years of experience as a qualified therapist, demonstrating a robust and diverse therapeutic background.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Hold at least one globally recognised therapy qualification, such as UKCP, HCPC, or BACP certification for UK-based therapists, or equivalent certifications for other regions.
- Additional specialised training and qualifications in areas such as relationship therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, or other therapeutic disciplines are highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience in guiding and supporting junior therapists to foster a collaborative and effective team environment.
- Proactive and initiative-driven, with a strong commitment to continually improving therapy practices and client outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and effectively manage therapeutic processes.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality therapy and contributing to the professional growth of team members.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person therapy sessions with members, utilising diverse therapeutic approaches such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, relationship/interpersonal therapy.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, creating a supportive environment for collective healing and growth.
- Lead the development and expansion of a skilled team of therapists, ensuring a diverse range of specialties to meet the varied needs of the members.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new therapists, contributing to a team that aligns with the company mission and values.
- Collaborate with leadership to design and implement a comprehensive mental well-being strategy that promotes overall health and happiness for members.
- Develop and refine therapy programs, ensuring they are effective, evidence-based, and tailored to the needs of members.
- Work closely with members to ensure they receive personalised therapy that aligns with their individual needs and preferences.
- Provide guidance and support to members, helping them choose the right therapist based on their specific requirements.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of our broader mental well-being strategy, aiming to enhance the quality of life for our members through innovative and effective therapeutic practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in therapy and mental health to continually improve and adapt our services.
- Engage with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the integration of therapy services within our overall wellness offerings.
