Director of Revenue – International Hotel Group ( Kuta )

Our client, an international hotel group with a collection of hotels in Australia, Hong Kong and Bali is looking for a Director of Revenue to join their team immediately.

The ideal candidate will maximise revenue and drive market share through effective revenue management strategies and processes. You will work closely with the General Manager, front office, and reservations teams to implement pricing strategies and ensure engagement across all levels. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. By implementing effective revenue management strategies and processes, you will contribute to the overall success of the company.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least four years in Revenue Management within the Hospitality Industry, preferably within an International Hotel Group.
  • Extensive experience in strategic revenue planning, forecasting, and optimisation.
  • In-depth understanding of revenue management principles, distribution channels, and market trends.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems (RMS) and hotel property management systems (PMS). Familiarity with industry tools such as Rate360, OTA Insight, or similar platforms is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and formulate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present strategies to senior management.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and maximising profitability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Leadership experience with proven abilities in team management, mentorship, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with international hospitality standards and regulations.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. 

Responsibilities :

  • Communicate revenue management across all levels, liaising closely with the General Manager to implement agreed pricing strategies and ensuring engagement from the front office and reservations teams.
  • Drive market share by developing and implementing an overall pricing strategy that encompasses all market segments and distribution channels.
  • Implement revenue management processes to maximise revenue and continually improve revenue management programs and processes.
  • Collect necessary information to establish a database of bookings and events on which the hotel strategy and forecast will be based.
  • Monitor pick-up patterns, lead times, and business trends in a statistical format.
  • Analyse performance and monitor the market and competitors’ past performance and forecasts.
  • Manage and plan all market special events, providing strategic forward planning guidelines to maximise revenue.
  • Create and oversee the effective implementation and compliance of Company Revenue Management Standards and initiatives. 
  • Maintain robust distribution platforms and structures, ensuring accurate hotel rate and inventory levels are bookable and in parity.
  • Host weekly revenue strategy meetings to communicate strategy and develop corrective actions for dip dates.
  • Ensure accurate management of all key distribution systems, including SiteMinder, SynXis, and Protel, utilising them in the most effective manner.
  • Produce accurate forecasts and other standard reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Oversee the collaboration of all hotel rate grids, ensuring they are delivered accurately and in an easy-to-use format.
  • Conduct regular cross-training sessions between the Hotel Manager, General Manager, and/or Reservations Agent to enhance client call handling efficiency.
  • Assist in qualifying all contract rate structures and distribute them accordingly.
  • Act as the key account manager for all Online Travel Agents (OTA), creating and maximising opportunities, as well as implementing dedicated campaign initiatives.
  • Complete assigned projects and tasks within specified deadlines. 
  • Ensure timely loading and visibility of all corporate rates for The Company across relevant systems.
  • Assist the event sales team with room rates for group inquiries.
  • Ensure all hotel, room, and rate descriptions are up to date on OTA, GDS, and other distribution channels. 
  • Collaborate with the regional sales and marketing team, as well as the property General Manager, to write, implement, and achieve the annual rooms revenue budget.
