An award-winning and internationally recognized label, art space, and lifestyle brand is looking for a Chief Accountant to join their team immediately.
The position Chief Accountant is a high-level management position to assist with the administration of all financial affairs of the Company and the daily operation of the Finance and Tax Department.
You will manage the finance team, improve the company accounting structure and ensure that reporting standards are met.
Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Well experienced of professional level accounting ability
- Excellent in financial management and decision making skills
- Fully comfortable with ALL aspects of dept : Tax, Annual Budget, Capital Planning, Forecasting, Monthly P&L statements, balance sheet, reconciliations, audit compliance, cost control, performance review meetings and to use software applications and systems
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Mature, calm and level headed
- Takes full ownership and responsibility
Requirements :
- Local and Female candidates only
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting
- Highly organized
- Great team player and be able to work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals
- Extremely capable of leading a team
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting team
- Responsible for preparing financial and performance reports
- Assisting departments with annual budgets and reviews, internal control, and tax
- Conduct all necessary training to keep the team’s skills and knowledge up to date
- See that tax interviews are conducted properly with clients
- Create monthly reports as well as set and strategize departmental and yearly budgets
- Ensure that all necessary documents are requested, collected, and compiled
- Review personal income tax returns to ensure accuracy
- Advise business owners and individuals regarding the tax code
- Monitor and mentor/train junior staff, clerks, and bookkeepers
- Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
- Uphold the excellent reputation of our firm
- Maintain constant communication with the DJP (Direktorat Jendral Pajak) and our clients
- Report directly to the CEO
