A pioneering design and architecture company specialising in sustainable bamboo structures is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, designing business strategies, and driving the company’s growth with an innovative and sustainability-focused approach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in Business Development, preferably in the property, architecture, or interior design industry with international clients.
- Experience in account management, client relations, and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of the architecture and design market, including trends and innovations in natural and sustainable materials.
- Expertise in strategic planning, market research, and competitor analysis.
- Proven experience in business proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Proficiency in project management software and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive and innovative mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the client pipeline, including project history, transaction records, payment adjustments, and payment schedules.
- Oversee relationships with clients, vendors, collaborators, and stakeholders regarding payments, project timelines, site visits, contracts, and business meetings.
- Proactively communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout the design process, ensuring high customer satisfaction and resolving any disputes.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify target markets and new business opportunities.
- Develop business strategies and action plans to enhance brand awareness, engagement, conversions, and client diversification.
- Report the latest market trends to senior management and provide strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with the senior management team to create capability documents and ensure the company’s vision remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Develop innovative approaches to identify new leads, clients, and business opportunities.
- Screen potential clients to ensure alignment with the company’s vision and mission.
- Lead the business proposal development process, including documentation, pricing, cost calculations, presentations, negotiations, and contract signing.
- Secure projects in line with profitability standards (target margins, COGS, and team capacity).
- Expand and diversify the client portfolio to enhance the company’s market reach.
- Provide regular reports to management on project status and client acquisition.
- Prepare and establish pricing strategies for upcoming proposals in collaboration with the Finance and Design teams.
- Monitor and recommend pricing approaches to ensure competitiveness and alignment with the company’s value proposition.
