Bar Manager – 5* Hotel (Kuta)

Are you currently working in the hospitality business but searching for a brand new opportunity? An international hotel group with a collection of hotels in Australia, Hong Kong, and Bali is searching for a Head Mixologist to join their team immediately. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.

Requirements:

• Local candidates only
• Tertiary qualification in hospitality required
• 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks 
• Excellent communication skills in reading and writing English 
• Passionate and willing to learn with a positive working attitude
• Competent in multi-tasking and enjoy working in a dynamic and busy environment

Responsibilities:

• Oversee bar operations in a way that maximises efficiency, effectiveness and service delivery, in line with company standards and procedures 
• Continually monitor all daily sales, ordering, par levels and costs for all outlets. 
• Maintain accurate paperwork for inventory levels and advise Curator of Wine and F&B Group Manager for ordering 
• Assist in the monthly wine inventory and year-end inventory 
• Assist F&B Manager or designate on implementing training itineraries and programs related to beverage knowledge 
• Has working knowledge of P.O.S. (Micros) system and bar systems. 
• Print and maintain all the wine lists as needed by the business level. 
• Coordinate wine pairing with the service team in the Restaurant & Bar. 
• Design and deliver effectual on and off-job training initiatives on a regular basis in line with identified training needs, so that the team is familiar with all products and services, including full knowledge of menus and wine lists, service standards, and procedures
