Are you a highly-driven individual with extensive experience in the Hospitality industry? One of Bali’s specialist Villa Rental & Management Groups is looking for an Area Manager to join their team immediately to cover the fast growing market in the Bukit area.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing multiple properties within the villa sector. They should be highly organised, with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of overseeing daily operations while ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. The candidate should be adept at managing staff, budgets, and maintenance schedules across several villas, while also being able to handle guest relations and operational challenges effectively.
Requirement :
- Open for local candidates.
- Minimum two years experience in a managerial or area management role in the operational sector of either 4/5-star hotels or the luxury villa market.
- Strong background in managing and maintaining seamless operations across multiple locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Indonesian. Additional languages are a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple properties effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at various levels, including team members, clients, and senior management.
- Proficiency in organisational and planning abilities, with a strong understanding of budget management and cost control.
- Excellent negotiation, listening, and presentation skills to effectively manage relationships with clients, vendors, and teams.
- Ability to work full-time, including weekends, to manage multiple properties efficiently.
- Candidates must be based in Bali.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with Villa Managers to maintain excellent performance of the staff on grooming, morale, knowledge, and skill and to ensure that all staff have the same understanding and commitment to serve clients with excellent / best quality of services.
- Supervise Villa Managers managing cash flow, cost and expenses allocation in each villa.
- Assist Villa Managers in preparing all standardised forms related to financial matters (guest bills, purchase orders, fund requests, etc).
- Understanding details of each property including rates, service and facilities that are available in each villa.
- Visit and inspect the property regularly (General Inspection) with Villa Manager, maintenance team and senior staffs, then create work order or contact outsourcing technician for any damage found and repair required.
- Ensure that Villa Managers apply “Daily Villa Checklist” to recognise damages or any immediate maintenance required.
- Create and maintain excellent company image both towards Guests and Villa Owners.
- Ensure that all problems related to the Village/Banjar are properly handled in order to avoid misunderstandings and cooperation issues.
